Mixed-use development - 238 apartments in a 22 story, Type 1 post-tensioned concrete structure with GFRC cladding. The building is constructed on a matt slab and covers an entire 30,000 square foot city block. Challenges included constricted urban in-fill site on busy main city thoroughfare with extremely limited access for staging. Construction was performed around 12,000 volt overhead wires with no lay down area thus requiring off-loading of trucks directly onto the building with 284 ft self-erecting stationary tower crane.
